The school and the building is real but the name is Viktor Rydbergs Samskola "VRS" 7th-9th grade and Viktor Rydbergs Gymnasium "VRG" 10th-12th grade. It's a non-profit private school run by a foundation in the center of Djursholm on top of a hill. Sebastian's house is the same house they filmed the movie Vinterviken (1996) in. The house is located in Djursholm. See more »
Another great series from Sweden, they never fail to impress me. True the character were kind of bland (Maja's parents, Amanda especially), and I've found myself being very frustrated by everybody's passive attitude towards Sebastian's shocking behaviour but I imagine it was done on purpose.
Acting wise, all of them were pretty good, especially Sebastian and Maja's lawyer. The storyline was great, we've seen maaaaany crime series using this flashback/present time dynamic and it kind of gets boring after a while but this series pulled it off quite well.
The last episode definitely got me stuck to my screen, trials scenes are usually boring but in this one it was extremely high tension and I loved it (Kudos to the lawyer especially, amazing delivery)
