Did You Know?
A young Johnny Lawrence is seen playing his auto-reverse Sony Walkman at a scene set in 1979. The Walkman though was introduced on 1 July 1979 with the TPS-L2, it did not become available in the US until June 1980.
Auto-reverse would not have existed in Walkmans until 1982 with the WM-7. The model he is shown using is the WM-F77, introduced in 1986. See more
