MPAA Rated PG-13 for sequences of war violence and related images, language and smoking

Sex & Nudity

  • In the beginning of the movie "won't say why to avoid spoilers" but one characters quickly says something about "chasing tail" to a soldier then is immediately interrupted afterwards by gunfire.

Violence & Gore

  • There's a scene after the attack on Pearl Harbor where an officer comes looking for a friend of his to see if he's alive, this scene takes place in an area where dead bodies are being gathered from the attack. You see burned charred dead bodies and eventually you see the charred dead body of the officers friend who he was hoping survived the attack. May be disturbing for some viewers

  • Brief strong language; there is an utterance of the expletive "f**k (I had a lot of friends that died on pearl harbor so why don't you go fuck yourself?), Milder terms used include "ass", arsehole, son of a bitch and "shit". One use of b***ard. The slang and derogatory term "Japs" was used eighteen times.
  • Many many religious profanities
  • Blasphemy (J***s and C****T) mentioned at least 3 times

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Characters smoke cigarettes, reflecting the period.
  • Characters drink alcohol.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Sex & Nudity

  • I went to see this WWII historical movie today ... here is absolutely no sex or nudity in the movie. . I guess that the 9 bozo's hat make these blatantly false "severe" reports had some alternative motive. I wish IMDB would do at least do some minimum verification.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Events of this film contain multiple warships being bombed by attacking aircraft. Some aircraft are shot down during the attacks.
