To apologize for something bad he inadvertently did on the Professor Proton Show, Sheldon goes to Wil Wheaton's house. In the process, Sheldon discovers that Wil hosts a Dungeons and Dragons game night for some of his celebrity friends, the only one that Sheldon is certain being among those celebrities is William Shatner. As such, Sheldon, Leonard, Howard and Raj do whatever they can to be invited to Wil's next game night, especially when they learn one of the people that attended the one that Sheldon almost walked in on was someone they know that is less than a celebrity. But the issue of being invited by Wil starts to expand when some others within their social circle learn which other celebrities are included that may appeal to other than the nerd senses of Leonard, Sheldon, Howard and Raj. Sheldon Cooper: I will admit the meeting did not go the way I wanted.
Howard Wolowitz: [imitating Shatner] Because you barfed where no man has barfed before?
Sheldon Cooper: Well, the next time I meet him, it will go better.
Raj Koothrappali: Next time? What makes you think there's gonna be a next time?
Sheldon Cooper: Wil will give me another chance. He thinks the world of me.
Leonard Hofstadter: Aw. One of the reasons I love you is you actually believe that.
Sheldon Cooper: [not getting the sarcasm] Thank you.

Perhaps It's Time to Move On
22 February 2019 | by HitchcocSee all my reviews

When Wil Wheaton becomes the star of an episode, it's pretty sad. I did enjoy seeing some of the big time SciFi guys playing D&D with him, but otherwise, the plot was dull. Maybe they could add another two minutes of commercials. Eventually, the commercials will be interrupted by the show. Obviously, the characters' priorities in life have stagnated to utter predictability.
