Another great episode, I remember at first I felt the superior was a lame villain, but this episode kinda makes it seem intentional, as Coulson ridicules him for his conspiracy theories. and considering where his character goes from here I think it all works. I loved the flashbacks in this episode, even though they aren't as effective as other flashbacks the show has done, they are really fun.
The episode ends on a huge cliffhanger, setting the stage for arguable the best episode of the show! on re-watch I noticed a lot of the details I missed the first time about how certain events took place. the whole thing is subtle and the clues are all there. this is one episode that really demonstrate the writers willingness to trust the audience to pick up clues and not feel the need to explian every detail for us.
