Quotes

Jess Day: Guys, we are in this together. We're just gonna have to find a house ourselves. I need a project now that my table's almost done. I'll be your real estate agent. I've already found like 5 open houses today. Like, this one is a fixer upper, but don't judge a house by its smoke damage.
Cece Parekh: Okay, babe, but this was a crime scene.
Jess Day: Yeah, but that was months ago, and it was a drug thing, so there are no ghosts.
Schmidt: That's not how ghosts work.
Jess Day: This is in your price range, and it's like 5 minutes from the loft...

Painfully Bad
23 September 2016 | by Man99204See all my reviews

I used to like this show. I used to like it a lot. This was back when the show was about YOUNG people who were quirky and cute.

By the sixth season, the actors are still stuck playing basically the same roles they played six years ago. When you are almost forty and playing a young twenty something it is just laughable - and not in the good way. For a twenty something to be quirky is cute and charming. For a forty something to do this it is just kind of creepy ... very very creepy. Sort of like your Dad trying to be "cool" at a teenagers's party...

Aging is a part of life - except on this sitcom. People grow and develop and mature - except on this sitcom. This is not the fault of the Actors, this is the fault of the writers who will not permit the Characters to progress.

I think this show needs to grow up - or be put out of its misery.
