Fran and Jamie are best friends and business partners - they just happen to kill people for a living. Having stumbled into a career in contract killing, the misfit duo are definitely not your typical killers for hire.
The chemistry between Mel and Sue on 'Great British Bake Off' is part of its success (though the cake probably helps)but surely this chat show/cookery format it a step too far. ITV have gone down a similar route with Sharon Osborne and Fern Brittain and this is a similar faux pas.
It's not a bad show at all but there are far more failed attempts at chat shows than successful ones and it is clear in which category this one falls in.
The likability of the hosts shines through and the guests add something but I can't see this show becoming half as popular as 'bake off' or as credible as the bigger (better) chat shows on the box.
