In Saint Augustine, Louisiana, Josie is left at the altar by her fiance Liam. Eight years later, Liam is a successful country singer. Wolf adored working with Rothe and her work in that audition so much that Wolf wanted to tell her right then that she had the part, but she couldn't; she had to wait until the whole team had seen her audition and shared their thoughts. This is a very good, romantic movie, with good acting, and a pleasantly predictable outcome. The country music score is first rate. Alex Roe does a really good job as the troubled lead. It's an example of why one shouldn't listen to professional critics.
