One outspoken family
9 February 2017 | by bkoganbingSee all my reviews

Two Reagans get involved in this story of a battered woman turned murder victim. Officer Jamie Reagan spotting a crying woman near the Flatiron building finds out she's a battering victim with a truly sick former boyfriend who won't leave her alone. Will Estes gives her his business card. Later Chelsea Lopez is found dead and it's Danny Reagan who catches the case.

You will not find fewer more brazen and more arrogant and dangerous criminals than James Carpinello. Because he found Jamie's business card on the victim he goes after him and anyone else who gets in his way. Both Will Estes and partner Vanessa Ray are truly in harm's way in Ray's case twice. They have a narrow escape from an ambush with Estes getting injured. Carpinello's final capture is well done.

Len Cariou gets on the internet when someone tapes his alcohol induced comments about what he would do if he caught the man threatening his grandson. This causes no end of embarrassment to Tom Selleck.

Lastly Sami Gayle gets in a bit of a jackpot when she posts some salty comments on social media regarding one of her uptight teachers. The whole Reagan clan is outspoken here. The teacher is played by Leslie Hendrix who made a career in the Law And Order franchise playing medical examiner Dr. Rogers. After the parent teacher conference Bridget Moynahan was ready to smack her.

All the Reagans seemed to get their moment in this episode.
