Who Stabs Jessica Jones in Season 3? It's an Enemy She Never Saw Coming

Warning: Spoilers for Jessica Jones season three ahead!

For once, it seemed like things were looking up in Jessica Jones. Season three begins with its titular heroine still grieving for her mother but throwing herself into the altruistic task of saving those who can't afford to save themselves. At the end of the day, she ends up at her favorite bar, pounds some whiskey, and meets a handsome stranger who offers to go home with her to cook her the best hamburger she's ever had. But because this is Jessica we're talking about, the night ends with her opening the door to Alias Investigations and getting viciously stabbed in the abdomen. But by who?

Of course, in all seriousness, we also need to discuss season three's incredibly dangerous new villain, Gregory Salinger.

We're first introduced to the character, played by Russian Doll's Jeremy Bobb, when he stabs Jessica in the abdomen outside of her apartment and escapes as she bleeds out in the hall. We later learn that Gregory was initially after Jessica's hookup, Erik (The Choice's

Nicholas Sparks Apologizes to Lgbtq Community and for Emails Written ‘In Haste’
The Notebook” author Nicholas Sparks has apologized for emails released last week by The Daily Beast that show him attempting to bar an Lgbt club from forming at a Christian school, saying that his emails were written “in haste” and that within those emails, he failed to show his “unequivocal” support for the Lgbt community.

“As a writer I should have understood the power and enduring nature of my words, but like many people sent emails off in haste under stressful and tumultuous conditions,” Sparks said in a statement. “My greatest regret, however, is not my lack of deliberation, but first and foremost that I failed to be more unequivocal about my support for the students in question.”

Last week, The Daily Beast published a series of emails between Sparks and the former headmaster of the Epiphany School, a Christian academy run by Sparks in North Carolina, in which Sparks

Win A Signed Poster From Annabelle: Creation

Annabelle: Creation is one of 2017’s scariest films!

Variety reports: “Annabelle: Creation,” which conjured $35 million in its opening to dominate an otherwise lackluster frame last weekend, will wind up the weekend with about $64 million in its first 10 days. The film is the fourth in New Line’s highly profitable “Conjuring” universe and should see the combined worldwide grosses hit the $1 billion mark this weekend, thanks to 2013’s “The Conjuring,” 2014’s “Annabelle,” 2016’s “The Conjuring 2,” and “Annabelle: Creation.” Next up is “The Nun,” starring Taissa Farmiga and Demian Bichir and due out July 13.

In his review, Michael Haffner says “it proudly stands next to The Conjuring films as delivering real scares. What helps with this is making the audience afraid of not just the doll, but of what other being is haunting the house as well as the always hidden mother. It’s a terrifying trifecta that fits perfectly into the ominous surroundings.
