STUFF YOU SHOULD KNOW tells the story of Josh Clark and Chuck Bryant, two perpetually curious, average-joe writers who get a not-so-average chance at success when their little podcast called 'Stuff You Should Know' takes off into something big - well, at least, big for a podcast. We join them on their daily adventures, in and out of the recording booth, as they let relentless curiosity do the driving. Written by Anonymous

Loving this new show
14 February 2013 | by ectremblaySee all my reviews

The show's format is sort of a quasi-documentary. It involves a fictional, scripted, office environment (the How Stuff Works offices in Atlanta presumably), and footage of Josh and Chuck recording their podcast Stuff You Should Know. In the first episode a character affected by the extremely rare 'Alien Hand Syndrome' shows up; this is used as a vehicle to discuss various issues about this syndrome and other rare and unusual brain disorders.

If you're a fan of the podcast, you will certainly love this show. Josh and Chuck have a peculiar charisma that translates well from audio to this TV format.

The show is smart; a refreshing change from most TV; even most "science" and "discovery" TV. They've got some clever hidden jokes in here too. If you're either well read or a good student of the podcast you will likely have a few laugh-out-loud moments.
