Did You Know?

When Sanders and Sidle when investigating two guys shooting at a barrel that happened to have a body inside and had blood run out of the holes they shot into it, Sanders says "They probably thought they hit oil, black gold, Texas tea." That is a reference to the 1962-1971 TV show The Beverly Hillbillies theme, The Ballad Of Jed Clampett. "Come and listen to my story about a man named Jed. A poor mountaineer, barely kept his family fed, And then one day he was shootin at some food, And up through the ground come a bubblin crude. Oil that is, black gold, Texas tea. Well the first thing you know ol Jed's a millionaire, The kinfolk said "Jed move away from there" Said "Californy is the place you ought to be" So they loaded up the truck and they moved to Beverly. Hills, that is. Swimmin pools, movie stars." See more »

Nick Stokes finds a loose diamond mixed in with the smashed glass he is examining. When he puts it under a microscope, he sees a laser inscribed serial number. But the number is shown to be on one of the diamonds facets. Serial numbers are not inscribed on a gems facets, they are inscribed on a gems girdle (a flat area between the top and bottom of the gem). See more »

Finish the show
17 July 2019 | by brueggemanntamiSee all my reviews

I hate part two crossovers. I enjoy the different departments working together, but this is not fair to the viewers. I understand that they want us to watch all of their shows. And I am quite likely to do so. But being forced to is frustrating. I am a binge watcher. I finish one series and then go on to the next. I don't want to leave an episode hanging to move on to a different series with characters that I don't know. Yes, introduce these new people. I will follow them. But finish the storyline where it is please.
