Rogue Warrior (2009 Video Game)
- Summaries (2)
It is November 1986. Richard "Demo Dick" Marcinko is sent into North Korea along with two other Navy SEALs. They are on a mission to find out if North Korea is in possession of ICBM missiles. Shortly after touching ground, Marcinko's team is killed and he must finish the mission on his own without any outside assistance.
This game is a hard-hitting, while vulgar TPS. The game, contrary to popular belief, is based on Richard, Dick, Marcinko's 2009 book Dictator's Ransom in which Richard is tasked to go to North Korea to find a ICBM, Nuclear Warhead. The game cuts out most of the first 4 chapters of the book simply because there is no excitement value in speaking with Koreans in your front yard with a hot woman pointing a gun at your throat and another hot chick pointing a gun at her's besides the bar seen there is almost no action until Marcinko gives Kim Jong-Il the slip and sets out to find the warhead so the game simply makes the entry seen more interesting by adding a "Skeleton Crew" in which Dick is the only survivor and a Korean General blows himself up in order to kill the crew, and after that it turns into sneaking around and attacking the enemies in stealth kind of like an actual SEAL operation.
