Storyline

Toby is called as a witness in the murder trial of Leslie Cahill, a young singer allegedly shot by her overbearing producer Peter Gavin. Having broken EMS protocol by bashing down the door before police arrived, the defense tries to destroy his credibility. In the courtroom, Toby is able to read the thoughts of other witnesses, including the victim's sister, who claims Gavin was responsible for her sister's death. While not convinced she's telling the truth, he gets a strange hit from someone else watching the trial. This leads him to discover the victim was being watched, and her stalker might hold the key to what actually happened. Toby and Oz pick up a "John Doe" whom Dr. Olivia Fawcett diagnoses with Alzheimer's disease. Unable to help discover the man's identity, Toby is shocked when the John Doe gives Toby a clue to his own mysterious past. Written by Shaftesbury Films/edited by statmanjeff
