After a deadly plague kills most of the world's population, the remaining survivors split into two groups - one led by a benevolent elder and the other by a maleficent being - to face each other in a final battle between good and evil.
Thirteen-minute featurette for PET SEMATARY has director Mary Lambert joined by cast members Brad Greenquist, Dale Midkiff and cinematographer Peter Stein as they talk about the characters in the film. Midkiff starts off talking about his original audition and how he had read the book before going in. From here he talks about not having children and having to bond with the kids that were used for the film. Lambert talks about her casting decisions including what it was like working with such young kids on the film and there's also some nice talk about the cat casting calls. There's also an archival interview with Fred Gwynne where he talks about his character and the story. There's certainly nothing ground-breaking here but fans of the film should enjoy the interviews and the behind-the-scenes stories. There are quite a few photographs shown from the shooting of the picture as well.
