It is stated by Toby that the employees signed contracts consenting to random testing. However random testing requires that random employees be tested, not all at once, so they would not be able to test all of the employees at that time.

Michael states that he went to an Alicia Keys concert at the "Montage Mountain Performing Arts Center." The venue that he was talking about was actually known as the "Ford Pavilion" in April of 2006 when the episode was shot. The Pavilion in Scranton PA was known as the "Montage Mountain Performing Arts Center" at one time, but only while it was a temporary facility from June 1994-September 1999.

In the break room scenes, a silver-haired woman in a red cardigan with glasses can be seen (twice) through the doorway which leads out to the annex. She looks as if she might be one of the "extra employees" that featured in Season One of the show - along the lines of fired employee Devin - but those "extras" were phased out by early Season Two. At this point in time, 14 regular employees work in the Dunder Mifflin upstairs office. Who is this 15th?
