Richie's father has been swindled by a man named Coombs. Jim assembles together a disparate group of con-artists in a complicated scheme using Coombs' anxieties, and even the "Curse" of King Tut, to save Mr. Brockelman from ruin.

The car Odette drives, the Pontiac Trans Am Kammback is a concept car, one1 of only 2 GM produced, and never went into production. It's also notable, as the front fascia was shared with (what would've been) the final Firebird model, which Rockford's drove (as the Firebird Rockford used was upgraded every year, or so). But, since Garner so disliked it's styling, he never opted to update his Firebird past the '78 model. See more
