Linda Griffin (Sandi's mom) says that one of her boys is named "Chris." This would mean that his full name is Chris Griffin, also the name of a character on Family Guy (though obviously predating that show). See more »
Now, why do you think it is that Tolstoy felt he had to make War and Peace so darned... unpleasant? Daria?
So no one would pester him to do a sequel?

After telling his fortune, Mrs. Barch tackles Mr. O'Neal with kisses. This is cut from The N airings, though nothing really explicit was ever shown here, even in the original MTV airing. See more »
All the fun of the Middle Ages without all that nasty old plague.
When the episode begins, the ceiling of the school library collapses. There is apparently no money in the budget for a roof so the school decides to hold a Medieval Fair. Students are ordered by Ms. Li to either volunteer of buy a $10 ticket. Oddly, Quinn volunteers--mostly in a weird attempt to once again try to capture Kevin (like the earlier episode where Daria and Kevin are doing a behavioral conditioning experiment). So she and Kevin land the lead in a play to be given as part of the fair. As for Daria, she mostly walks about with Jane observing the stupidity and banality that is Lawndale High.
This episode is excellent, as it's not only funny but features lots of plot development for a wider variety of characters than normal. Highpoints are Jake at the play, Stacy with relationship problems and Brittany shows some sparks of intelligence! Funny and well worth seeing--even if the plot is a bit contrived.
