Trivia

Despite the fact that Josh (Bradley Whitford) was shot and had extensive open-heart surgery in the second season, when Josh and Donna (Janel Moloney) are in bed there is no scarring on his chest. Likewise, Donna has no scars from the bombing of the CODEL in the end of the fifth/start of the sixth season. See more »

Goofs

In the Houston airport scene at 6:36AM, a number of American Airlines DC-10 or MD-11 aircraft are seen on the ramp. American Airlines would have retired all of those aircraft types by 2000, 6 years prior to the election. Additionally, they would not have a large presence at Houston which is primarily a Continental hub nor would they have such long range aircraft servicing it. See more »

Quotes

Ronna: [Josh is in a hotel lobby and has just learned that some coworkers are sleeping together] You might have had an easier year of it if you had "come on board". 6 tomorrow morning right?
[Ronna goes to the bar and kisses a female associate]
Josh Lyman: Wow, Cindy? Did you know that?
Donna Moss: About Ronna and Cindy?
Josh Lyman: Any of them?
Donna Moss: Yes.
Josh Lyman: Which one?
Donna Moss: All of them.
Josh Lyman: Wow. Did you ever "come on board"?
Donna Moss: [seductively] No.
