S1 ep14 is when Scrubs drops the mic
14 July 2018 | by Br4ve-trave1orSee all my reviews

What a incredible episode! Yes, I'm very sure there will be much more incredible episodes to come, especially when this episode isnt even talked about that much. But watching this show for the first time 17 years later and bingeing it, I felt a huge new direction taken in this episode!

The biggest reveal was Doctor Cox revelation! I did not see that coming but it has been there all season, so it wasnt pulled out of left field. She was one of the very very few that truly knew Cox and was the only person to put him in his place and have an affect on him by getting mad.

It turned this episode title is entirely misleading, which I loved and created a lot of fun upon watching with the reveals and twists. My drug buddy is literally not what you think or who.

I suspected JD's new direction upon the reveal at the end like I'm sure the rest of us did in the beginning. But the writers played it off very good where its believable, yet ohh, there they go. Finally! That kind of moment.

The highlight I think, in my opinion, the highlight of the last few episodes was Turk and Cox bathroom scene. I'm sure that is my favorite part about season 1 that just made me laugh and smile all the time during the scenes. Scrubs takes relatable events or things you may have experienced in your life, and incorporates them very well!

I'm so happy to know at this point into this series (episode 15), that I'm in it for the long haul and I can see this series touching my all-time favorite, The Office. This is a show that grows massively and progresses like a violent contagion each episode. I feel drawn so close to these characters lives, so well done to the whole team involved in making Scrubs! What a outstanding series this has turned out to be. Bravo.
