Storyline

With David missing and in jail, ABC starts looking for a replacement, unsuccessfully. Released from solitary, he ends up on a work gang. His fellow workers give him advice on what he should do with Maddie, musically (with apologies to Gilbert and Sullivan). The main piece of advice is that he should marry her. David manages to get out of his cell through a tunnel and reach a phone to telephone Maddie. Whilst there he finds a bent warder and a warden turning a blind eye. Herbert is the acting supervisor. He is throwing his weight around and is becoming disliked in the office. Agnes and Herbert go looking for David and find the criminal who stole his identity living in his place. Written by jem
