Linda moonlights as a proof reader for a newspaper.
Things heat up between Charlie and Gina. They make-out where ever they can, including the Metcalf/Kahn porch. Caroline blames her trustworthiness for Charlie's cheating - with Linda. To Gina, "I know a home-wrecker when I see one". She draws the sympathy of office mates who side with her during Charlie's supposed office romance and forces Linda to move her desk at work. On being reassured by Linda that nothing is going on between her and Charlie Caroline says, "A tramp never confesses to being one". Charlie returns his home key, and threatens Caroline that he'll spread that she was the spy, if she doesn't stop the rumor about him and Linda.
Robert and Perrette stay in after several failed attempts to venture out. They are seated, then ignored, then threatened at a white-owned restaurant. They eventually leave. Things seem a little better for dinner at a black owned establishment, until Perrette is mistaken for a prostitute. Then their ...
