Christel Khalil Explains Her Decision to Drop to Recurring at The Young & The Restless

The storyline where Lily Ashby could be facing jail time for Hilary’s death had some fans wondering if Christel Khalil was leaving The Young & The Restless. But the actress set their minds at ease with a heartfelt Instagram post where she explained that she’s not leaving the soap, just dropping off-contract to recurring status. “I wanted you to be the first to know that if you see less of me on Y&R, it’s because I have decided to switch from full-time to recurring status,” Khalil confided. “That means I’m not leaving, just ready — after 16 amazing years playing Lily — to explore new things! I will continue to be a proud member of the Y&R family and look forward to further adventures playing Lily. Thank you for all the love and support over the years!” Khalil made her debut as Lily back in 2002. (Photo Credit: Aaron Montgomery/jpistudios.

Greg Weisman Exclusive Interview - Gargoyles, Star Wars Rebels, and Rain Of The Ghosts

Writer Greg Weisman is best known for creating Disney's epic 1990s series Gargoyles, but he's also worked on a ton of other projects over the course of his career. I've been a fan of his work since Gargoyles, and he recently published a book called Rain of the Ghosts that I think a lot of you would enjoy. He has also been working on the highly anticipated Star Wars Rebels animated series for Disney and Lucasfilm, which is sure to be a hit.

Weisman was kind enough to take the time to answer a few questions for us regarding Gargoyles, Rain of the Ghosts and Star Wars Rebels. He shares his thoughts on a Gargoyles feature film, goes into detail about his new book, talks about his excitement for Star Wars Rebels, and answers a few other general questions. Our exclusive interview is definitely an interesting read, so check it out below!

Back in February, actress Stephanie Lemelin let slip that she had been cast in the series, and now mania.com have the official synopsis and artwork from Cartoon Network’s annual Advertising Upfront presentation at New York’s Time Warner Center.

In Young Justice, being a teenager means proving yourself over and over—to peers, parents, teachers, mentors and, ultimately, to yourself. But what if you’re not just a normal teenager? What if you’re a teenage super hero? Are you ready to join the ranks of the great heroes and prove you’re worthy of the Justice League? That’s exactly what the members of Young Justice—Robin, Aqualad, Kid Flash, Superboy, Miss Martian and Artemis—will found out, whether

No word on the premiere date, but I’d imagine it’s sometime in the fall and we’ll hear specifics at Comic-Con. Hit the jump for the first image/poster from the series.

Here’s the official synopsis:
