A group of tech geared fire fighters, called collectively as the Burning Rangers, use their abilities and futuristic gear to put out fires all over the world. They work going through four different areas saving people and scientists as the fires spread and become larger as the game progresses. As fires are put out, the fires turn into usable crystals for the players. From each call to put out unusual fires they leap and use acrobatic like moves to get things done. The disasters continue to increase from Down Under and eventually lead to an space station in orbit as they try and figure out the mystery surrounding the increasing fire issues that have continued throughout the game. As the problem is further investigated, the cause for the Burning Ranger's increase in operations may not be of this Earth.

Did You Know?
A two-player mode was planned for this game. Production screenshots revealed that two-player action likely would have taken place in the training facility and the players would have been combating one another instead of playing cooperatively. However, during tests the two-player mode kept crashing, so it was removed as the developers couldn't afford to delay the release of the game. Despite its removal, the voice clips recorded for the two player mode were left in and can be heard in the game's unlockable sound test. See more

During the closing credits, pictures appear onscreen showing how the individual Rangers go about their daily lives. Some pictures even show one or more of the Rangers meeting the civilians they rescue during the game out in public. See more
