Wamg Interview- Joey Dedio: Writer and Star of Tio Papi – Sliff 2013

Joey Dedio is a veteran of film, stage and television. As a youngster, Dedio appeared in After School Specials and on the NBC soap opera Another World; portrayed the title role in the NBC Series “The Karate Kid”; and served as the voice of “Wheeler” on the animated series “Captain Planet and the Planeteers.” As an adult, Dedio has worked as a regular in the serial “Sunset Beach”; guest-starred on such dramas as “Law and Order” and “Chicago Hope”; originated the role of Angel in the critically acclaimed off-Broadway play “Skin”; and appeared in more than 15 films, including the Sundance competition drama Strays. Taking on additional roles, the multitalented Dedio wrote, produced, and starred in Downtown: A Street Tale and produced the award-winning documentary “The Providence Effect.” Dedio plays the title role in Tio Papi, which he co-wrote and produced.

Aaron Paul is On the Shortlist to Play John McClane's Son in 'A Good Day to Die Hard' (Also, Three Other Actors)

A director was chosen, a title was given, and a release date set. Now, A Good Day to Die Hard is moving forward in the casting space. First things first—they need to find a son for John McClane.

Deadline broke the news of the shortlist, although a shortlist like it was once circulating the net a couple weeks ago (although that was debunked by Fox's official Twitter feed). The original shortlist featured Aaron Paul, Ben Foster, Milo Ventimiglia, Paul Dano, and Paul Walker (a lot of Paul's there). The only person to remain on that "phony" list is Aaron Paul. It's obvious Fox wants him.

And the entire internet want them. Everywhere, people are clamoring for him to get the role; he's fantastic on Breaking Bad, and a role in Die Hard 5 will certainly give him more roles. Also, he seems Perfect for the part; seriously, I can imagine
