Trivia

Fans rave about Fran's gorgeously elegant or gaudily flashy wardrobe, and with good reason, but, oftentimes, C.C. Babcock, Sylvia Fine, and even her friend Val wore equally gorgeous, if not even more beautiful, outfits than Fran's. While most of C.C.'s wardrobe consisted of conservative navy suits, she was on occasion seen in elegant taupe blazers with brocade lapels, and sumptuous silk blouses with bouffant sleeves paired with pearls. She even sported the classic safari look, complete with 1920's pith helmet. Even Grandma Yetta was one not to be reckoned with, and her own particular style involved lots of sequined leisure suits in loud, clashing colors, which she seemed to favor in a harlequin pattern, as well as lamé gold blouses and accessories, including a gold fanny pack worn over her tummy. Goofs

When people are leaving through the inner front door, they often turn right (exiting the stage) rather than going through the outer front doors. While not noticeable from side views of people leaving, his flaw can be seen from shots behind the characters as they leave. See more »

Last Of The Female Comedians
6 August 2003 | by shrek2004See all my reviews

This was a good show. Funny, sometimes a little immature or

vulgar, but overall quite good. Has anyone else noticed that since

the late '90s there have been almost no shows that have a woman

as the main charactar? (Ellen was another) Most shows today are

family shows that revolve around the husband or father. I think this

was one of the last lady shows. I used to love Fran Fine's outfits!

The wardrobe people really knew what they were doing with her.
