  • Kevin watches another robbery movie in the hotel with a machine gun.
  • Like the first Home Alone there is slapstick violence but it's a little more harsh in this one:
  • Harry, one of the bad guys flies out and falls on a car and shatters the window.
  • Marv, the other bad guy gets electrocuted by the sink when Kevin hooks a generator to it.
  • Both bad guys get bricks thrown at them but Marv ends up being the only one to get hit.
  • The bad guys get other traps done on them. Staple gun, paint cans, tool chests, tools etc.

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The finale of the movie is considerably darker than the original, as the two primary antagonists seem genuinely prepared to kill Kevin. The leader tries to shoot a woman who is trying to save Kevin and only fails to do so as the trigger of his gun is too slippery with grease for him to pull. Some viewers may find the scene unsettling.
