When Joel complains of ghost-like rumblings in the house, Maggie thinks it could be the loner who committed suicide in it decades before, so she orders an exorcism of the house. Meanwhile, the hypochondriac Eve wants Joel's help for her various ailments. And, Maurice is visited by his old Marine colonel who needs to borrow money.

Shelly's mom (who prefers to be known as Shelly's YOUNGER sister) surprises her with a visit, boasting about her new main squeeze, a really young Army man.

Spring arrives in Cicely and with it comes more quirky behavior from its residents: Shelly has a skin rash, Holling decides to give away eggs, Joel gets a lesson in medical care from a tribal medicine man and Maggie has a reawakening with the help of a handsome stranger.

During the Northern Lights, Cicely is infused with Japanese tourists, Holling decides to go in search of Jessie the bear and Maggie and the townsfolk are curious when a package arrives that is covered with foreign stamps.
4 May 1992It Happened in Juneau
Joel looks forward to a weekend in Juneau, hoping to spend it with attractive female physicians. But, instead, he winds up in a hotel suite with Maggie who clearly cramps his style. Meanwhile, Chris is flustered when Bernard, his "karmic doppelganger", returns from Africa.
11 May 1992Our Wedding
Adam prepares to marry Eve. At his bachelor party, the men ruminate on the differences between men and women. Meanwhile, Eve lets an enthusiastic Shelly take over the wedding plans. And, Maggie and Joel try to finish what they started in Juneau.
18 May 1992Cicely
Joel encounters a 108-year-old man who has come home to Cicely. He tells Joel that Cicely, founded by two incredible, free-thinking women named Roslyn and Cicely, was once considered the "Paris of the North". The series regulars appear in this episode as various residents from 1909.

On Maggie's 30th birthday, she decides to perform an ancient Native American ritual for saying goodbye to her dead boyfriends. Joel and Ed later have to rush in for the rescue when she turns out to be ill.

When the midnight sun, days of constant sunlight, hits Cicely, Joel experiences a relentless surge of energy and begins coaching Cicely's local basketball team.
12 Oct. 1992Nothing's Perfect
Chris runs over a dog and is smitten by the owner. Maurice a very rare antique clock. Ed makes a new friend of the horologist.
19 Oct. 1992Heroes
A rock musician (played by Adam Ant) accidentally arrives in Cicely, creating quite a stir-up among the locals. While Ed makes a documentary about the visit, Chris has trouble deciding how to put an old friend to his final rest.

A former lawyer named Mike Monroe moves to town with a unique medical condition and has to live in a bubble. Ruth Anne's son comes for a visit.
9 Nov. 1992On Your Own
While Ed catches a fish containing a ring that he thinks belonged to Fedrico Fellini, the Flying Man and some circus performers revisit Cicely.
16 Nov. 1992The Bad Seed
A woman arrives in town claiming to be Holling's daughter. Marilyn looks for a new house and asks Maggie to help. A friend of Ed's migrates south.
23 Nov. 1992Thanksgiving
It's Thanksgiving in Cicely, which means they celebrate in their usual 'unique' way. Joel is lied to again by the State of Alaska. Maggie goes after Mike.
30 Nov. 1992Do the Right Thing
A semi-retired KGB agent arrives in Cicely and reveals to Maurice that he once divulged some classified information. Holling finds a great nuisance in a health-care inspector who gives him some instructions to clean The Brick.
