Alternate Versions

The print used for Shout Factory's 2011 DVD was a composite version consisting of an interpostive created for TV showings, missing all the violence and nudity, so a splicy 35mm theatrical print containing all of said material had to be reinstated into the print filling in the missing footage. remake this
6 May 2020 | by PIST-OFFSee all my reviews

Star Wars, Conan the Barbarian, Mad Max, and Flash Gordon. These are the movies that seem to have inspired this mess. There are elements which are good, POV shots from the motorcycles and generous amounts of female nudity to pad the runtime especially in the slow going early parts where exposition is the only method of world building. The bad parts are terrible prop design, set design, costumes, special effects, recycling shots over and over again and the charmless acting of David Carradine that makes one wonder how he became a star in the first place. Instead of hollywood remaking good movies they should find movies like this and try to fix them.
