surpassed Darrell Hammond
as the longest-tenured cast member, with 15 continuing seasons. Hammond has been in more episodes than Thompson, has made countless cameos, and has been the show's announcer for over 3 seasons. In 2018, Thompson announced that he has no plans to leave the show anytime soon. See more
