When Louis Black, founder of the Austin Chronicle and cofounder of Austin's SXSW festival, asked Richard Linklater to be the subject of his new documentary, Linklater did not say yes, but he didn't say no either. Somehow this was enough to result in the wonderful documentary Richard Linklater: Dream Is Destiny, which Black co-directed with Karen Bernstein of American Masters.
