Andrea Lavinthal, Style & Beauty Director: My favorite red carpet vibe is Hollywood bombshell and with her hot pink, strapless bustier Louis Vuitton column dress (that slit!), voluminous Barbie-inspired blowout and doll-like lashes, Sophie Turner absolutely nailed that aesthetic. And thanks to her, I’m going to invest in some more belts because they’re a total power accessory.

The Walking Dead Rick Grimes Movie Details Teased by Scott Gimple

Joseph Baxter Jan 6, 2020

Andrew Lincoln’s return as Rick Grimes in The Walking Dead movie will be “bigger” in scale, teases showrunner Scott Gimple.

AMC’s The Walking Dead famously ushered an explosive epic exit for its main character, Andrew Lincoln’s Rick Grimes, only to surprisingly tease a return for said character in a planned film trilogy. Yet, well over a year after that event – with the series preparing to premiere the second part of Season 10, with Season 11 already confirmed – we still know next to nothing about Rick’s movie medium crossover. Thankfully, the franchise’s appointed maestro, Scott M. Gimple, has provided a much-needed update on the features.

In an interview with EW, Gimple teases a bolder (and bigger) new direction for the continuing story of Rick Grimes, which is confirmed to premiere at theaters. Yet, despite the length of time since the October 2018 trilogy announcement, Gimple also

AMC Reveals First Look At Michonne In The Walking Dead Season 10B

With the show now in its tenth season, it should come as no surprise that The Walking Dead has seen its fair share of cast departures and returns. There’s been plenty of heartbreaking deaths and mysterious disappearances over the years (I’ll always be a bit salty of Glenn’s murder), and while some of the heavy-hitters won’t be making a comeback, AMC has managed to bring back a few big names, like Lauren Cohan, who’ll be reprising her role of Maggie Greene in Season 10B. If you’re wondering how they pulled that one off, you can thank the failure of ABC’s Whiskey Cavalier.

Unfortunately, though, there are more planned departures on the way. Most notably, Danai Gurira, who plays Michonne, will be leaving the show this year and now, we finally have our first look at the samurai sword-wielding badass in The Walking Dead Season 10B.

The Walking Dead Sheds a Little Bit of Light on Danai Gurira's Final Arc as Michonne — 2020 First Look
Thus far, clues about the way that The Walking Dead will be writing off Michonne to facilitate the departure of longtime cast member Danai Gurira have been as rare as a zombie that doesn’t smell. But at last, TVLine has obtained an exclusive image from the AMC drama’s midseason premiere (Sunday, Feb. 23, at 9/8c) that sheds a little bit of light — quite literally — on what may be the formidable heroine’s exit story.

Marvel Reportedly Developing Black Panther Spinoff For The Dora Milaje

Somewhere along the line, Ryan Coogler’s Black Panther became something much more than just another comic book blockbuster in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The movie became a genuine cultural phenomenon, and dominated the conversation for months as it went on to become one of the ten biggest box office hits of all-time, as well as the first comic book movie to be nominated for Best Picture at the Academy Awards.

Obviously, both fans and execs at Marvel Studios will want to explore much more of Wakanda, with the technologically-advanced nation opening up their doors to the outside world creating a huge number of exciting new narrative possibilities. The characters from the Black Panther franchise made their returns to the McU as part of the Infinity War and Endgame double-bill, but the story and ensemble cast was so packed that T’Challa and company didn’t have much time to make a real impression.

U.S. Government Briefly Listed ‘Black Panther’s’ Wakanda as a Free Trade Partner
Unfortunately for Wakandians, the U.S. government will no longer partner with the fictional kingdom.

Until yesterday, Wakanda, the main setting of Marvel’s “Black Panther,” was listed as a free trade agreement partner of the U.S. on the agricultural tariff tracker maintained by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Foreign Agricultural Service.

Francis Tseng, a research fellow at the Jain Family Institute, discovered the odd listing and tweeted about his confusion on Wednesday.

“The Us would no doubt try to liberalize Wakanda’s markets and flood it with cheap subsidized corn,” Tseng said in a follow-up tweet.

The screenshots Tseng shared revealed the alleged agricultural products the U.S. traded with Wakanda: fresh vegetables, unroasted coffee beans, essential oils and livestock.

A Usda spokesperson told People that Wakanda was added during a system test and should have been deleted afterward.
