3/22/00: A judge in Virginia City, MT, ruled Patricia Shannon should inherit the 90 acres of land near the town of Twin Bridges. The decision was based on a 1997 letter written by Kuralt to Shannon two weeks before his death and established her rights to the land. His family is still considering an appeal. See more »
