  • Member of the comedy/music group Tenacious D along with Kyle Gass. They had two ten-minute spots on HBO entitled "Tenacious D: The Greatest Band on Earth."
  • Did a instructional speech and communication video in the mid to late 80s
  • Guest starred in Foo Fighters video "Learn to Fly" as Janitor #2.
  • Appears in Beck's "Sexx Laws" music video.
  • Music video for Tenacious D: "Wonderboy," directed by Spike Jonze.
  • Filmed a TV pilot entitled "Heat Vision and Jack" in 1999. The pilot never aired.
  • Tenacious D's second video, "Tribute", was released in 2002. It was directed by Liam Lynch (of Sifl and Olly fame) and stars Dave Grohl (Nirvana / Foo Fighters) as the "shiny demon".
  • Hosted the MTV Movie Awards along with Sarah Michelle Gellar.
  • 2003: Appears in music video for Foo Fighters, "Low".
  • Joined R.E.M. vocalist Michael Stipe, Moby and documentary filmmaker Michael Moore in a TV ad that criticizes the policies of US President George W. Bush.

  • Appeared in the music video "Push" by Dio with his fellow band member Kyle Gass of Tenacious D.

  • Provided vocals for The Lonely Island's song "Sax Man".
