Exclusive: It is the end of the road for Nick at Nite‘s first original scripted comedy series See Dad Run, starring Scott Baio. I have learned that Season 3 of the family sitcom, which is currently filming, will be its last, with production on the series wrapping in May for good. There are five episodes left from See Dad Run‘s 20-episode second season, with the 13-episode Season 3 expected to air later this year — culminating with an hourlong series finale, which has been ordered in addition to the 13 regular episodes. Nickelodeon Renews ‘Haunted Hathaways’, Orders More ‘See Dad Run’

Exclusive: Nickelodeon has ordered a 22-episode second season of promising new comedy series Haunted Hathaways. Additionally, the cable network has extended the second season of Nick at Nite‘s See Dad Run with an order for 13 additionally episodes. In its first season, Haunted Hathaways is drawing 2.3 million total viewers and averages a 4.0/1.3M with kids 2-11 and a 5.0/959K with kids 6-11. The series is posting 13% year-over-year gains with kids 2-11 and 6-11 in the Saturday 8:30 Pm slot. In its second season, See Dad Run is averaging 1.2 million total viewers, up 3% among adults 18-49 in the Sunday 8 Pm period. The family sitcom starring Scott Baio has received a 20-episode order, matching its first-season pickup. Created by Tina Albanese and Patrick Labyorteaux, See Dad Run centers on actor David Hobbs (Baio) who, after a decade on television, becomes a stay-at-home dad so his soap-opera-star wife (Alanna Ubach) can get back in the spotlight. Scott Baio, who rose to fame on Happy Days, starred in one of the highest rated syndicated sitcoms in television history with Charles in Charge, got back to his roots with Arrested Development, and then starred in the popular reality series Scott Baio Is 45... And Single, is bringing it full circle with a starring role on the new Nickelodeon "Nick at Night" comedy series Daddy's Home.

Scott Baio will star as David Hobbs, a former sitcom actor coming off a popular family show where he starred as America's most beloved dad. He decides to become a stay-at-home father so that his wife, a soap opera actress, can return to the spotlight.

The series was created by Little House on the Prairie actor Patrick Labyorteaux and Tina Albanese. Both will executive produce the series alongside Scott Baio.
