Face-Off: Which of These Non-Religous Movies Did The Best At Incorporating Exodus Biblical Themes Into Their Stories?by dgranger | created - 22 Jun 2017 | updated - 22 Jun 2017 | Public
To talk about the topic, go to this page. The question is in the title. All these movies have similar themes that are in Exodus. A reluctant Moses-like figure leading an oppressed group to a promised land or safe haven. With the exception of "Mister Moses" and "The Devil At Four O'clock", they are chased by army of oppressors seeking to capture the fleeing group, like Pharaoh did in Exodus. And like in Exodus, the leader doesn't enter the promised land or safe haven. They all carry the themes of sin and redemption, rebirth and hope. Which did what the title asked the best?
