BEST to WORST Anime I've Ever Seen

by havoren | created - 26 Mar 2019 | updated - 1 day ago | Public

The top of my list represents the ones I liked the most, and the bottom are the ones I hate. Those in the middle aren't very good either so keep that in mind.

The best comedy out of ALL anime. There's a bit of fan service that can be distracting, but the show is aware that it's dumb and stupid and it works. Main complaint is when they take the story seriously, that butchers it a little. Just ignore the "story" parts and focus on the idiot devil flippin' burgers for fat ugly customers. That's enough comedy gold for this show to be rated an 11/10,

I never watched an anime that had only animals as characters so for this one, I found it a rather good experience. The characters were well established and the writing was great, and even though the animation looked a bit off-putting like it did with shows like Ajin, it was actually impressive at times and reminded me of why anime was good in the first place. Definitely recommend.

The perfect example of a really good anime that is butchered by the awful writing, the atrocious pacing, and the terrible dialogue. Animation is beautiful and the score is brilliant, but the story lacks ANY substance and the characters are poorly executed and written. Comedy ain't that bad though, even worth watching for a few ironic laughs at the bad dialogue. But it can be REALLY boring, just warning you!

A really stupid anime, but it works. The comedy manages to be somewhat decent without going too far with the visuals, the characters are passable, and the idea itself is handled much better than it probably should of been. Might check this one out soon.

Honestly not as bad as I was expecting it to be on the very first episode. The characters were decent, the writing was tolerable, and the show overall didn't drag on too long. Only problem is the kids were a bit much and the troll lady was kind of bad but I'd say worth watching further if the second episode manages to not be complete garbage.

Apparently it was a decent experience. The pacing of the show manages to be good, the dialogue was well written, the animation looks good, and the main character was alright as well. Could probably see myself watching more of it but it's unlikely to happen.

Honestly could of been worse. I thought that although the show lacked any kind of story or interesting characters, it was competently made, beautifully animated, and didn't drag on or bore me to tears. Not sure if it gets better or worse though, it all depends on whether I watch more of it or not. Chances are slim on the first option though.

Not a fan of this show, but I respect that it makes fun of the awful cliche "humor" than a lot of terrible anime has. So it's worth the watch if you're in with the joke, but probably best to avoid if you don't find this type of "humor" funny.

Pretty good. I thought after the first few minutes, it would become extremely annoying, boring, and/or frustrating to watch but I was wrong. Has a few cliches that bugged me, but the show stayed true to the premise and nothing about it felt lackluster and atrocious. Might give this a further watch.

The very first episode was pretty decent for the most part if not too pretentious. The labyrinths still look like garbage, but it's not as bad as I expected it to be. Characters are pretty bland, but overall not annoying or terrible like the original characters. Story is interesting and I look forward to watching more.

Absolutely GORGEOUS animation even if the character designs are weird. It's basically just another anime that's focusing on being just like Love Live! but better. However, it's bland and pretty unfunny for the most part and the characters are very stale and generic. It manages to be tolerable but doesn't offer much to the table unless you like cute stupid animes with no originality whatsoever.

Cliche and typical for what it's worth, but it's relatively decent nonetheless. Animation looks good, the idea is interesting enough, but it lacks great characterization and a good story. With that being said, it's an anime worth checking out but don't expect high quality writing from this one.

It tries to do the best job with the worst idea and it doesn't work. The script makes no sense, the jokes are bad, the characters are mostly cliche and poorly written, and the overall presentation of the show is pretty mediocre and lacks substance. Not necessarily awful despite a couple moments, but barely anything of quality. It's better than all the bad animes, but it's nowhere near as good as the good ones.
