Trivia

Myles Peterman's role (Joe) was previously offered to Gustavo Goulart, and he wanted to perform the role, but most of the first season's shooting dates were matching the exact dates of another project, so the actor and singer Gustavo Goulart had to say no, even wanting to say yes. See more »

traces of brilliance buried in mediocrity
17 September 2017 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

It's a shame, the first 2 Episodes only managed to show glimpses of what they could have been .

There are a few great scenes , some great characters and acting - namely the very talented Mr. Roth .

But it all amounts to nothing due to a lazy script, an erratic story line and uninspired directing . Those ruin the few gems that show up on occasion , like the characters that go from credible and intense to shallow stereotypes within a single scene, or those scenes that are well crafted yet only lead to disconnected , drawn out boredom in the next one .

It could have been up there with Fargo, the ingredients seem to be there, but this show constantly runs out of talent re. writing, directing and production .
