Weakest Episode of this Season by Far,
22 May 2015 | by (Ireland) – See all my reviews

Let's go Fly a Coot is a decent Simpsons episode with a storyline that, I hate to admit, is disappointing and not what I've come to expect from this series, but it does have several funny scenes. It has a good few funny moments and it's not the weakest episode the show has ever done, I enjoyed Grampa's role and his dialogue was certainly the funniest, also the scene that parodied The Expendables is the highlight of the whole episode. I didn't feel like it trusted either of it's story lines, neither of them are the main story or the side story, they just kind of jump back and fourth, without either stories feeling they were touched upon as much as they could have. Both of the stories were also, admittedly, not up to standard, the one with the Air Force was promising but it got a little bit ridiculous, and the story with Milhouse's cousin was a disaster from the get go, the constant use of e- cigarettes is unnecessary, with unlikeable voice acting done by Game of Thrones Carice van Houten, who was probably only picked because she has the same surname of Milhouse. Let's go Fly a Coot is not terrible, but it's certainly disappointing and the weakest moment of the twenty sixth season.

The family learn about Grandpa's days in the Air Force while Bart begins to fall for Milhouse's cousin.
