Goofs

After Jeff Chang gets completely drunk and wasted, Miller and Casey spend the majority of the night trying to get him home because they don't know his address. Not a problem, except they both took a taxi cab to get to his house at the beginning of the film, which means they either have his address written down/stored somewhere or they both knew it. Even if they didn't know the location of his house from the bar area, they should have at least had the physical address to give to someone. See more »

Quotes

Casey: Aren't we a little too old to be doing the whole music festival thing?
Miller: I don't know, Casey, are we too old to have fun times?
Casey: No.
Miller: Are we too old to spend a week enjoying 250 bands play seminal music of our generation? Are we too old to drop acid and make love to white chicks with dreadlocks?
Jeff Chang: I don't like dreadlocks.
Miller: Are we too old to take handfuls of ecstasy and dance around in fur, with other people in fur?
Casey: Yes! We're too old for all of those things.

Oh dear
24 May 2015 | by See all my reviews

Ironic that, although this piece of American college dross is titled 21 & Over, it's hard to imagine that it would appeal to anyone over the age of fifteen.

The plot, such as it is, has already been covered. To flatter it with a further description would be giving it credit that it doesn't deserve.

In my opinion (and I admit that I am way out of its' targetted age range) it is humourless, devoid of any charm and it's hard to imagine that it earned enough to pay for its making.

This genre of movie, if it still has a future, can be done so much better. The comparisons with The Hangover are obvious and an indication of how tight direction, a genuinely funny script and talented performers can make all the difference. This offering has none of those.

There are capable actors in the cast and they deserve better but may struggle to maintain any credibility for a while with this on their CV.
