Earlier this week, Netflix released a teaser revealing the names of the first six episodes: “MadMax,” “Trick or Treat Freak,” “The Pollywog,” “Will the Wise,” “Dig Dug” and “The Spy.” The titles for episodes seven, eight and nine are still a mystery. The story continues. New chapters on. »

“Darkness falls upon the land; the midnight hour is close at hand.”
Yes, while the Netflix original series began life as a summer sleeper hit, co-creators Matt and Ross Duffer have embraced the show’s horror elements with arms wide open, resulting in an expanded instalment that will seemingly ramp up the scare factor on October 27th.
Behind the scenes, Netflix subscribers can expect a number of fresh faces to take up residence in Hawkins, Indiana, including Sadie Sink, Dacre Montgomery Paul Reiser, Chelsea Talmadge and Brett Gelman as Murray Bauman, a conspiracy nut who will surely cause a headache or three for Chief Jim Hopper. We also learned recently that the Powers That Be have tweaked the episode titles ever so slightly. »

The crazy world of Derren Brown is not without controversy and debate. Here we revisit 11 of the illusionist's most gripping TV stunts...
Being friends with Derren Brown must be simultaneously fascinating and utterly terrifying. A vastly intelligent natural performer with charisma and charm to spare, Derren has been confounding audiences with his brand of “magic, suggestion, psychology, misdirection and showmanship” for something approaching two decades and has successfully pulled-off a remarkable evolution from skilled street magician to performer of increasingly ambitious television events.

A wave of pure VHS-era nostalgia – with all the associated benefits and drawbacks – awaits in this 1989 sequel to the 1984 B-movie, which was itself a solidly silly monster movie with a great cast (John Heard, Daniel Stern, Kim Greist et al) and charmingly lousy special effects.
This time, the inner city setting is gone in favour of a typical Midwest small town, and the Cannibalistic Humanoid Underground Dwellers are about to run amok at the teenagers’ Halloween Dance. Not that the CHUDs spend any time underground this time around. As the flimsy franchise leans hard into farce, any semblance of the original film’s social satire is forgotten in favour of smart-ass quips and fish-out-of-water comedy.

Not gonna lie, I was pretty lukewarm on the 2014 Godzilla remake that's now the lynchpin to the Giant Monsterverse (too dour and not enough Bryan Cranston). However, I am super looking forward to the upcoming sequel King Of The Monsters, not the least of which is the involvement of director Mike Dougherty, who worked on the awesome films Trick 'R Treat and Krampus (the fact that fan-favorites Mothra, Rodan, and King...
