'Sansa Stark' Does "Marie Claire"

Further to "Game of Thrones" actress Sophie Turner aka 'Sansa Stark', appearing in the August 2017 issue of "Marie Claire" (UK) fashion magazine, Sneak Peek more new images of Turner posing for the magazine's winter 2017 issue, wearing Louis Vuitton, photographed by Beau Grealy:

"I don't really have a process," said Turner about her acting method.

"I'm very much an in-the-moment actress. I suppose I just kind of wing it because I feel that as long as I know my character, I should be able to be spontaneous on set.

"I learn something new everyday about myself as an actor, my capabilities, how far I can stretch myself, throw out emotions I never knew I had.

"I don't know why - I guess it's my job.

"It's quite nice coming off doing a dark, upsetting scene.

"It's a relief that that's over with, and then you can get back to happy old Sophie.

HBO's Casey Bloys Explains Why We Have to Wait an Eternity For Game of Thrones Season 8

Every time I remember that the final season of Game of Thrones won't come out until 2019, I sprout a single gray hair. I can only assume by the time HBO's fantasy epic finally returns to TV, I will be officially old and gray, with only the thought of Jon and Daenerys having 20 beautiful children to sustain me. So, what's to blame for this two-year gap between seasons and my premature descent into senior citizenry? According to HBO programming chief Casey Bloys, perfectionism. During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Bloys explained that showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss are using the extra time they've been given to pore over each and every detail in season eight. "Here's what I'll tell you: They take the time they need to do the show at its highest level of quality. As the show has gone on, it's gotten bigger - big battle scenes,

Game of Thrones fans erupted in a chorus of “Shame!” earlier this month when it was confirmed that the series’ eighth and final season will not air until 2019. But HBO president Casey Bloys is defending his decision to delay the Emmy winning dragon drama’s return.

Brad Pitt Bid $120,000 to Watch ‘Game of Thrones’ With Emilia Clarke and Kit Harington

Brad Pitt Bid $120,000 to Watch ‘Game of Thrones’ With Emilia Clarke and Kit Harington
Brad Pitt may be one of the most powerful men in Hollywood, but he wasn’t able to secure the winning bid to watch an episode of “Game of Thrones” with series leads Emilia Clarke and Kit Harington, as reported by our sister site Variety. The actor attended Sean Penn’s annual gala for Haiti on January 6, where this silent auction item was offered with an initial opening bid of $20,000, and quickly ballooned to six digits. Pitt outbid himself several times during the process, but the item was eventually sold to another attendee for $160,000. Although the original offer was only to watch the show with Clarke, Harington was also in attendance and offered to come along once the bidding hit $90,000.

Jessica Chastain’s X-Men: Dark Phoenix character name revealed

When Jessica Chastain was first announced as being in talks for 20th Century Fox’s X-Men: Dark Phoenix, initial reports claimed that she would be portraying the character of Lilandra, Empress of the Shi’ar Empire.

However, Chastain subsequently denied the report, with later rumours then suggesting that she’ll be portraying a Skrull character. That seemed to have been supported by a character description last month which described her as a “shape-shifter”, and now it has been revealed by Fox that Chastain’s character is called ‘Smith’.

Presumably the name Smith is an alias, although it remains unclear whether Chastain’s villain will indeed be a Skrull character. There has been some speculation that Smith could be a gender-swapped version of Jason Wyngarde / Mastermind, who played a crucial role in The Dark Phoenix Saga by manipulating Jean Grey using his mutant abilities to create complex telepathic illusions.

At this point though,

Game Of Thrones Won’t Return Until 2019 After All

Batten down the hatches, folks, for the long night is here.

True to those early rumors, Game of Thrones‘ eighth and final season won’t arrive until 2019, at which point David Benioff and D.B. Weiss – along with directors David Nutter (“Mother’s Mercy”) and Miguel Sapochnik (“Hardhome,” Battle of the Bastards”) – will see in the six-episode finale.

News of a 2019 release window isn’t all that surprising when you consider that season 8 will ostensibly be built around feature-length episodes. Last year, the seventh season ranged from 59 to 80 minutes, ending with the frankly unmissable finale, “The Dragon and the Wolf.” This, coupled with the prolonged production cycle, all but confirms that HBO has no intention of rushing new episodes of Game of Thrones out the gate. And we can’t say we’re complaining.

'Game of Thrones': Eighth and Final Season Will Air in 2019, HBO Confirms

It's official!

HBO announced via press release on Thursday that the eighth and final season of Game of Thrones will air in 2019. The network's confirmation comes months after HBO Head of Programming, Casey Bloys, hinted that the final episodes would be airing next year.

"The scripts are written and they’re boarding it all out,” Bloys said at the summer Television Critics Association press tour in July. “It’s a big season. I don’t have the answer yet, but they’re working on it."

According to Thursday's press release, David Benioff, D.B. Weiss, David Nutter and Miguel Sapochnik will serve as season eight directors, while writers include Benioff, Weiss, Bryan Cogman and Dave Hill.

Thrones star Sophie Turner revealed in December that the series wouldn't return until 2019.

"I feel this sense that everything is over Game of Thrones-wise," she told Variety. "I have nothing to lose right now, because I don’t have

Game of Thrones’ final season confirmed for 2019

Out of the many pieces of speculation regarding the final season of HBO’s Game of Thrones, one of the questions has been whether or not audiences will get the season this year or next. Well, it has now been confirmed by HBO that winter won’t come again until 2019.

Sophie Turner recently said 2019 would be when Game of Thrones would have air its final season, but it wasn’t fully confirmed until now. At that time, they had just finished their read-through of the season in what Turner described as an emotional scene. “We had the read-through a while ago and at the end of it, we were all on our feet, applauding and crying. We had everyone there, everyone who’s had any part in this. It was amazing.”

Kit Harington also recently spoke about the pressure behind the final season, saying “Whereas before, every year there’s

'Game of Thrones' Confirmed for 2019 Release
Game of Thrones will return for its eighth and final season in 2019, HBO confirmed in a statement.

HBO initially expected the show to return this year, though began hinting that filming the series' final six episode would likely extend into summer 2018. In an interview with Variety last December, star Sophie Turner let slip that Game of Thrones' final season "comes out in 2019."

In a separate interview with TV Guide last October, Liam Cunningham also hinted at the delay and offered details about the ostensibly truncated six-episode season.

"[The episodes are] definitely going

‘Game of Thrones': HBO Confirms Final Season Will Air in 2019

HBO is being incredible sardonic in a new press release about the return of Game of Thrones. "Your readers may be interested to know," it begins, which is really the biggest possible understatement. The network is confirming what Sophie Turner spilled the beans on last month, which is that Game of Thrones' six-episode eighth and final season will premiere in 2019. The TV night will be dark and full of terrors until then, but HBO also revealed that directors for the new season include David Benioff & D.B. Weiss, David Nutter and Miguel Sapochnik. Get ready to go back to Westeros — well, in a while. “Game of Thrones” will premiere its six-episode, eighth and final season in 2019, HBO announced Thursday. It's Official: Game of Thrones' Eighth and Final Season to Premiere in 2019
The year 2018 is long and devoid of a certain fantasy epic.

Game of Thrones will not return until 2019, HBO announced Thursday, ending months of speculation about when the dragon drama would return for its eighth and final season.
